Gelé Nails part. 2

I thought it would be nice to show you a picture of the new design on my nails. ;) This is gelé too, I got these beauties almost a month ago. And you can tell! I've already lost two nail layers. Now my nails are short and thin. I could have taken new ones but it costs so much! 55 euros per/maintenance. So I decided to spend my money on something little bit more important. But it feels sad to give up these. They're so beautiful and long. But I guess it was too good to be true?

Waiting for more nails to peel off... Have already honed one layer off today. :D When these are away I can start to show you some more manicures!

step by step manicure that lasts

Here is a quick tutorial on how you can make a longer lasting cute manicure:

Here is my nails at the start, it is important that you take care of your nails and use oils before bed and softly pull down your cuticles :) but remember, no oil before nailpolish! then it will not stick:

I start out with a polish that hardens the nail, to have a hard clear base, with Depend Powerflex Nail Strengthener :

After that I use a very soft pink, not too strong color, natural:

After this I paint the tips white with a acrylic polish and a thin brush, you don´t have to be so extremely worried about painting outside the nail, just be studious about covering the whole tip from side to side and along the lower end of the tip be sure to make an arc:

Next I used the same natural pink as before to make the nail more pink and the white less white, plus i painted a simple flower at the corner of each nail:

And done! Hope you found out something useful!

Dots splash

Here is a fun, very simply made design,
that even the most inexperienced person could do these at home:

You use a base color then three different colors that gradually splashes up your nail!

Tip of the day: Use a Barbecue stick(the thinner ones, usually in wood) to make perfect dots,
just dip it in the color and voilá!

Anna-lena´s lace

I played around a little with normal french manicure, black lace, metal and a matte polish!
Here is the result, what do you think?

Summer break

Hey guys, I have sort of had a summer break from all sorts of computers, that is why I have not written for very long, but now I can upload a few different nail styles that i have made during the summer, here comes the latest, I tried making my own Gel nails at home using Depend GeléKit that I bought in a supermarket (!), for only 74.- since I split the kit with my friend Linnea.

This is how they looked when I put on the tips:

horrible, I know, But fun!

And here is the final design, some glitter! so not me but pretty ;)

What do you think? :D

Gelé Nails!

Hey, and sorry that I haven't been writing here that much. It's just that I have been a bit busy. Busy taking gelé nails! ;) Yes, I got an offer that I couldn't resist and got gelé nails with only 30 euros. Usually they cost 80-100 euros. Now I have had these nails for about two weeks, and they're doing well. You can see that I have had them for a while though. I understand why you really have to maintain these things so often! But I really recommend gelé nails, just be prepared for a little pinch while the gelé gets hot and then hardens...

The most of my nails already were long enough so only three of them got little extra length (not seen in these pictures). Next time I'm gonna get a little longer nails though. ;) But what do you like?
