Julia´s fresh summer manicure

Sweet, sweet Julia was here yesterday evening and got her nails all summered-up!

we decided on a dark manicure with pink flowers/starfish: 

Tip of the day: use a wide brush for the tip of the nail for a smooth line

Therese gets her custom nails

Therese is the best dog owner I know and I love her with all my heart! 

I asked her what she wanted and she said: "PINK!"

So I made a design that was pink and very "Dog"! So her!

she loved it ;)

Dip and Dye Nails

Like Britta, I also tried doing dip and dye nails a couple of weeks ago. It was actually easier than I thought, and the result was great! Like Britta said, you need a sponge and some colours to work with it. I also added some nail stickers to make the result exclusive. ;)

Here are the steps you follow:
1. The transparent base
2. The main colour
3. Apply a little bit darker colour to 2/3 of your nail, with the help of a sponge
4. Apply the darkest colour to the tip of your nail
5. Add some stickers if you like
6. Finish with glitter nail polish
And you're finished!

Johanna´s new nails

I failed to tell you that Johanna was very pleased with her nails and that she didn´t have any “pain”-problems J But now after two weeks they have grown out and we needed to fix them up!

And this is the result she got (remember it is my first time painting someone else´s nails)

Tip of the day: Use a bowl for the other persons hand, it is easier to paint the nails and keep them intact ;)
